Über mich/About me

Ich bin Bastler aus Passion und habe ab und zu kreative Ausbrüche, die mir neben dem Bogenschießen als Ausgleich zum Beruf dienen und unter denen meine Familie, Freunde und Kollegen ab und zu ,,leiden” müssen, wollen oder dürfen. Ich bin offen für nahezu alle Bastel- und Handarbeitstechniken und probiere auch immer wieder neues aus. Im Moment konzentriere ich mich auf Native American Beadwork, Quillwork und das Entwerfen einer eigenen Schmuck-Kollektion (die dank Kolleginnen und Familie ständig ergänzt werden “muß”. Vielen Dank für die Unterstützung!).

HINWEIS: Meine Schmuckstücke sind Einzelstücke, die ich alle selbst hergestellt habe. Ich behalte mir allerdings das Recht vor, für meinen Eigengebrauch ein zweites Exemplar jeder Kreation herzustellen. Dieses Zweitexemplar werde ich allerdings nicht verkaufen, sondern es bleibt in meinem Besitz. Leider kann ich keine Garantie dafür abgeben, daß es meine Schmuckstücke nicht doch noch ein zweites, drittes oder viertes Mal gibt, weil ein anderer Künstler die gleiche Idee hatte. Bitte sehen Sie mir dies nach.

Kokopelli ist ein Kachina und Fruchtbarkeitsgott, der von den Ureinwohnern des amerikanischen Südwestens (heutige USA) verehrt wird. Er wacht sowohl über Geburt und Fortpflanzung, als auch über die Landwirtschaft und sorgt für Jagdglück. Kokopellis Flötenspiel vertreibt den Winter und leitet den Frühling ein. Viele Stämme, wie zum Beispiel die Zuni, verbinden mit Kokopelli auch den Regen. Für mich symbolisiert er immer neue Einfälle und Kreativität, damit ich weiterhin viele schöne Dinge schaffen kann.

I’m a passionate hobbyist/home constructor and have sometimes creative explosions, which serve me, combined with archery, as a balance to my job and from which my family, friends and colleagues sometimes have to “suffer”. I am interested in almost every handcrafting technique and always try something new. At the moment I concentrate on Native American Beadwork and Quillwork and on the creation of my own jewelry collection (thanks to family and colleagues for constant support!).

NOTICE: My jewelry pieces are one-of-a-kind pieces, which were all handmade by me. However I reserve the right for me to do a second exemplar of every creation for my personal use. I am not going to sell this second exemplar, but keep it in my own possession. Unfortunately I can not give a guarantee, that my pieces do not exist a second, third or fourth time, because another artist had the same idea. Therefor I beg your pardon.

Kokopelli is a kachina and fertility god, who is deified by the Native Americans in the Southwest (today‘s USA). Kokopelli watches over birth and reproduction, as well as agriculture and good luck in hunting. Kokopellis flute playing drives away the winter and brings spring. Many tribes, as the Zuni, also associate Kokopelli with the rain. For me he is a symbol for constantly having new ideas and creativity, so that I can carry on creating beautiful things.
