The Lemonade Award!
Von Kokopelli am 27. Januar 2009. Abgelegt in AwardsVielen Dank An Pearl von The Beading Gem’s Journal für diesen Award! Mein erster!
Thank you very much, Pearl, for giving me this award! My first one!
First I wasn’t very amused about this award thing. Things like chain letters and pyramid systems came to my mind and they have very negative connotations for me. And now I received my first blog award from Pearl, the Lemonade Award, which is given for attitude and gratitude. I got this award for my can-do attitude and my bilingual blog. But I didn’t know that I teach language courses with my blog.
I am honored that I got an award and I hope that my readership will grow a bit more. And I’d be glad if these blog awards would help to connect creative blogs and people around the world. There is still so much to discover!
Here are the rules for the award:
1.Put the logo on your blog or post
2.Nominate blogs that show great Gratitude and/or Attitude and link to your post.
3. Let them know they have received this award by leaving a comment on their blog.
So here are my nominated blogs:
Voice from Jamaica: Lady Roots just makes me smile and feel better when I read her blog, as she has a positive attitude and gratitude in life. Besides that her beautiful beaded creations are so inspiring!
Clay Perry: Besides being a very talented carver and a father of two, his stories from life leave me thoughtful, smiling, laughing, sad, furious…….just full of emotions. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Jonara Blu Maui: Besides being am mom and a wife she makes beautiful jewelry with an island touch. Like me, she finds therapy in beading and other types of artistic endeavors and is forever wishing she had more time to try new crafty things. I can feel your pain.
Unikatissima: A great source for people searching for crafting instructions. Susann posts many links for instructions, she collected during her crafting career and now wants to share them with others. The blog is, like mine, available in German and English (just check the right upper corner for a change of languages).
Bangles & Beads: Jean is a mixed-media artist living in NJ. She tries to do something art-related each day and designs great jewelry. Her “hearty” designs for Valentine’s Day are so cute!
Aloha! Thank you for my award! I’m very happy to get two of these..so no worries! Awards are a great way for getting the link to your blog spread around the net..Google will pay more attention to you if your link is in different places. So that’s another reason to be okay with blog awards
I think I came to your site before but didn’t know where to comment..now I finally found it “kommentar” not so hard..sounds like the English version almost hehe!
Oh and I”m glad you understand my pain haha! I take it I hit ‘senden’ next!
This is a problem with this English-German thing. If I put the options in the admin section to English, only the language in the admin section changes, but not on the blog. But you made it!
Thank you so much for this award!
Your comment about my blog is so that I actually blushed
And it goes without saying that I will come back to your great blog
I don’t mind at all that you nominated Jamee too. Love this bilingual blog thing! Is there a “follow this blog” I can sign up with?
Chani, I’m sorry, that here is no follow-this-blog-possibility. But you can put me on your blogger profile and follow my blog from there. Thanks!
